Accessibility
Accessibility status: WCAG 2.2 AA target. Automated checks pass on every page of every build. No human assistive-technology review has been done yet.
What is checked on every change
Every page this site publishes is checked automatically before a change is accepted:
- pa11y, to the WCAG 2 AA standard, with two independent rule engines.
- axe-core against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rules, including colour contrast, target size and the page language.
- A keyboard walk: the first Tab reaches “Skip to main content”, every link can be reached, and each one shows a visible focus outline that nothing covers.
- Reflow: at 320 pixels wide nothing scrolls sideways.
- Reduced motion: if you ask your device for less motion, nothing on the site animates.
Known gaps
- No person has yet checked the site with a screen reader (such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver) or with a keyboard alone. Automated checks catch many problems but not all of them.
- The calendar feeds are read by your own calendar app, so how accessible they are depends on that app.
- “Buy tickets” links go to Ticketmaster or to a team's own ticket seller. Those sites are outside this statement.
Reporting a problem
If something on this site gets in your way, tell us through the contact page at chelseakr.com: say which page and what happened. A problem that stops you finding a team, subscribing to a calendar or following a ticket link is fixed first.
